A former member of Dynamica goes banking!

We hear from reliable sources that Denis Gagnon (PhD 2014) has decided to make the transition (irreversible !?) to the world of finance. He has joined a customer analytics team at National Bank of Canada, on the 13th of August 2018, where his expertise with optimization algorithm and machine learning will be put to good use. With Pierre-André Noël (PhD 2012) and Vincent Marceau (PhD 2015), he is the 3rd member of the brotherhood whose abilities will serve the machine (deep ?) learning community. We wish him an optimized transition…
